Matthew hails from the great state of Georgia (GOOOO DAWGS!). He is married to Skye (m. 2010) and together they have three children:  Liam, Blayke, & Sawyer.  Matthew holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music degree from Brewton-Parker College and a Master of Arts in Christian Studies from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.  He has served churches in Georgia and North Carolina.  As a pastor, Matthew’s passion in ministry is marked by my genuine desire to see all peoples become disciple-making disciples, strong in faith and fulfilling Christ’s command to the Church.  As a worship leader,  he strives for depth in corporate worship over popularity and seek to communicate the rich truths of God in song while remaining approachable and personable.

 

Matthew’s ministry verse is 1 Timothy 1:5, “The aim of our charge is love that issues from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith.”
