Join us for a trip down south to the Georgia Veterans State Park Depot in Cordele and a ride on the historic SAM Shortline Railroad!
"Riding in air-conditioned, 1949 vintage cars, you’ll enjoy a mix of romantic yesteryear with the excitement of today’s South. The SAM Shortline stops in quaint towns filled with fun attractions, restaurants and shopping."
The train’s mid-point destination is Plains, GA where we’ll have 90 minutes to explore, eat and enjoy the company. We’ll return back to the main depot around 4 pm and be home about 6:30 pm. We will enjoy a "Deluxe" experience with FBC-G having it’s OWN train car.
Cost is $35 per person before August 1st ($41.99 after August 1) Food is extra. The train has a Commissary Car that serves hamburgers, hot dogs, sausage dogs and other treats. You can eat at one of the two restaurants at the train stop in Plains also.
